11 Nov. 2015 - The Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines--Episcopal Commission on Youth (CBCP-ECY), on its official Facebook page, has recently recognized the prayer leaflet for vocations "Kaya Idalangin" to be part of the delegates' kit for the National Youth Day 2015 held in Tuguegarao City, Cagayan Valley, Philippines.

Moreover, in its official Facebook post, it says: "Each NYD2015 delegate will receive KAYA IDALANGIN inside the kit, compliments of the Rogationists of the Heart of Jesus! We thank the Rogationists, who is also behind the Rogate Ergo Asia magazine, for this gift to our NYD2015 delegates! As one Church, let us "pray, therefore, the Lord of the harvest that He may send workers into His harvest" [Mt 9:37-38/ Lk 10:2]", together with a picture of the two versions of the prayer leaflet in English and Tagalog. The October-December 2015 issue, featuring the family, will be a prayer-companion of the NYD 2015 Youth Delegates for the 5-day event.

The "Kaya Idalangin" is a quarterly prayer leaflet for vocations published by the Congregation of the Rogationists of the Heart of Jesus--St. Matthew Province, through the St. Hannibal Rogate Center, in collaboration with the Religious Theology Students of Fr. Di Francia Center of Studies, in an effort to promote an awareness of the need to pray for holy vocations among the clergy, religious and the lay faithful, and in the dioceses, parishes, schools, other aggregates and individuals.

The title itself, KAYA IDALANGIN (Pray therefore...), is inspired by the command of the Lord Jesus found in the Gospels of Matthew and Luke: "The harvest is abundant, but the laborers are few; PRAY, THEREFORE, the Lord of the harvest, to send out laborers into his harvest." (Mt. 9:37-38/Lk. 10:2), following the ideals of St. Hannibal Mary Di Francia, Apostle of Prayer for Vocations. Since 1988, it has been the official prayer aid for the members of the ecclesial lay organization, the Union of Prayer for Vocations, extending to adherents of the prayer for vocations. It contains the monthly prayer-intentions of the Holy Father, with a suggested reading, reflection, activities and prayer. It also features a suggested schema of Eucharistic Adoration for Vocations, with some information related to vocation-related activities.

The Kaya Idalangin is available in print and digital editions, published in English and Tagalog. Subscribers may send their requests of copy of KAYA IDALANGIN for free at  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Send, O Lord, holy Apostles into Your Church!
